Another trip to Utah

This weekend we went to Utah to visit my parents in the hospital. Back in June my dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer along with Amylodosis and had to have two stem cell transplants. He was just finishing up his second one so we went to see them. We got there Friday night and went and saw them in the hospital. Then Saturday, about noon, his doctor gave him a pass to leave for a few hours so we went to lunch and then to see the church sites on Temple Square. It was really neat to go through the museum and other buildings, we haven't done that in a long time. We also went and watched the Joseph Smith movie. After we dropped them back off at the hospital we headed to the hotel to hang out. Sunday my dad was well enough to leave the hospital and head to the hotel for a few days. We had a really fun and relaxing weekend. We ate at a lot of fun places, shopped a little and played a lot.

Today was Lincoln's Blessing. He looked so handsome and was so good the whole time. His dad gave him his blessing and did a great job. After church we came to our house and had a dinner.

He's Finally Here!

Lincoln Zachary Talbot was born October 28th. He weighed 6 lbs 7 ounces and was 19 inches long. I had a scheduled c-section and everything went really well. He is such a beautiful baby with tons of dark hair.

One proud daddy

The best big brother ever!

Our sweet angel

We were so excited to meet the new addition to our family. We have waited a long time for him to come join us and we couldn't be more thrilled to have him here and healthy. My prenancy was long and pretty miserable with Kidney stones, stents and preclampsia but he was totally worth it. He is our sweet little angel and we love him so much already!

Getting Ready for Halloween

This year we decided to start getting ready for Halloween early. It seems like it sneaks up on us every year. But this year we were ready!

It turned out so scary!

Every year I make sugar cookies and let Parker decorate them for Halloween. He is getting pretty good.

Yummy!

EISF

This year Parker was counting down the days to the parade and fair. He was so excited!

The Parade

The petting zoo.

He loves the horse races.
Parker really wanted to play a game and try to win something. After much begging, we finally let him but we gave him a lecture about how he only got to try once and he couldn't get mad if he didn't win because it is really hard. Of course he won on his first try and told us that it wasn't even hard for him. Little stinker!

The Prize: His new fish, Goldy!

What a stud.
